Like its predecessor, the superbly balanced Z650 offers sugomi performance and styling in a slim, compact middleweight package that features a 650cc Parallel Twin engine with strong lowmid range torque in a lightweight chassis. Engine refinements contribute to cleaner emissions and increased mid-range torque, new tyres offer lighter handling, and a redesigned tandem seat offers increased passenger comfort.

As before, nimble handling and superb feedback are complemented by easy-to-manage power delivery and rider-friendly manoeuvrability, offering an ideal blend of sporty performance and everyday versatility designed to accommodate a wide range of riders.

Sharp styling, highlighted by a LED headlight and TFT instrumentation with Bluetooth, gives this 2nd generation Z650 an even stronger sugomi presence. LOW SEAT HEIGHT

The combination of a low 790 mm seat height and a slim chassis that makes it easy to reach the ground enables a wide range of riders to enjoy the Z650 with confidence. The low seat height contributes to manoeuvrability, whether walking beside the bike, or foot peddling in a parking lot.

ALL NEW TRELLIS FRAME

One of the key components realising Z650 LAM’s lightweight (noticeable as soon as the bike is lifted off its side-stand), the all new frame weighs only 15kg and contributes significantly to the bike’s light, nimble handling.

EXCITING PARALLEL TWIN ENGINE

Tuning of the 649cc Parallel Twin engine focused on achieving a throttle response that balanced a powerful feeling and a quick-revving character. To optimise performance for everyday riding, care was taken to maximise low-mid range torque.

SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY

A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.

TFT COLOUR INSTRUMENTATION

The new 4.3” all digital TFT colour instrumentation – a Kawasaki first in the 650cc class – gives the cockpit a high-tech, highgrade appearance. The new meter also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model.

RELAXED, SPORTY ERGONOMICS

Wide, flat handlebar and a relaxed, sporty riding position allows riders to fully capitalise on the Z650 LAMS’s sporty street riding potential. Designed to both inspire rider confidence as well as put the rider in the ideal position for control.
