Designed for adults and big youths, the KLX140R F combines a rigid KX based perimeter frame with long travel suspension and large diameter wheels, and a simple, yet reliable air-cooled 144cc single cylinder engine into a perfect sized package. Unique in offering a 150cc class engine in a lightweight full size chassis, the KLX140R F was made with new riders in mind. The engines power is easy to handle (ideal for riders not quite ready for a 250cc machine), and the bikes lightweight, slim ergonomics and low effort controls make it the perfect full size trail bike.

KX INSPIRED STYLING

The racy styling of the new KLX140 G was inspired by the design of Kawasaki’s KX motocrossers. The sharp, aggressive design is backed up by great trail-riding potential thanks to the box-section perimeter frame, high-grade suspension, dual disc brakes and KX-style wheels.

LARGE DIAMETER KX STYLE WHEELS

Large-diameter wheels, measuring 21” at the front and 18” at the rear, efficiently overcome obstacles encountered on off-road trails, greatly contributing to trail-riding performance. Fit with lightweight rims, comfort and performance is set at maximum.

LIGHTWEIGHT

At 99kg, the KLX140 G is very light for a full size trail bike. The lightweight chassis with full-size wheels can take on full-size riders. Go the distance on the trail with the smooth, capable engine, comfortable ride and lightweight performance of the KLX140 G bike.

SUPERIOR SUSPENSION FOR TRAIL PERFORMANCE

ø33 mm telescopic front fork with 190 mm of wheel travel contributes to controllability on rough terrain. Rear shock features a piggyback reservoir, enabling a higher average speed. Both the shock body and reservoir are aluminium. The shock has fully adjustable preload, 4-way compression damping and 22-way rebound damping.

FULL SIZE FUN

A full-size version of Kawasaki’s trail bikes for youth riders, the KLX140R f (Previously known as KLX140G) offers adults and bigger teens the same brand of off-road fun. The lightweight chassis was designed specifically for the 150cc class and features many parts sourced directly from KX machines.

The proven 144cc air-cooled four-stroke engine provides strong torque ideal for learning riders. Its low maintenance requirement and rock solid durability makes it as easy to own as it is to ride.
