The development of the closed-course 326hp (RAM air) Ninja H2R combined over 300 engineers from 45 divisions within the Kawasaki Heavy Industries group to create.
Experts from the turbine division worked tirelessly to perfect the superchargers impeller design, while other divisions were called upon to distill specialist-industry technology into the Ninja.
It resulted in the road-legal 2015 Ninja H2 and Ninja H2 Carbon versions which paved the way for the Ninja H2 SX tourer in 2018 and Z H2 Supernaked in 2020.
While the Ninja H2 SX and Z H2 are available year-round, the more exclusive Ninja H2/H2R models are handmade to order once per year.
Two Kawasaki dealers placed their orders last year and have these stunning models available now for two proud new owners.
Take a look at this mashup of archive footage from the development of the H2 and visit Cyclespot Kawasaki, Auckland or Filco Farm & Sport Nelson to see them in the flesh.
